Steve Griggs is a Seattle jazz saxophonist who recorded with drummer Elvin Jones and featured solos on the Halo 3: ODST video game soundtrack.

His musical arrangement of "Moonlight" by Henry Wordsworth Longfellow won a Longfellow Chorus Award of Distinction in the 2010 Composition Competition.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Music Arts in Saxophone Performance from the University of Illinois, a Masters of Business Administration from Pace University, and Certificates of Arts Management and Narrative Nonfiction from the University of Washington.

He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Arrangers, and Publishers (ASCAP), Chamber Music America (CMA), Jazz Journalists Association, Earshot Jazz.
